Meet Arnoldo "Jr" Hirales, the musical mastermind behind Proyecto Insomnio's unique sound. He's the composer, co-producer, and editor, weaving together the diverse influences that make our music so captivating. 🎶

Jr's musical journey began early, playing versatile music with "Alta Tension Jrs" at just 9 years old. 🤯 By 17, he was already shaping the sound of "Punta Kebrada," exploring genres like rock, blues, funk, and pop. 🎸

His time with the norteño band "D'Inztinto" allowed him to hone his songwriting skills and incorporate his original compositions. And in 2017, he joined forces with Mike Armenta to create the groundbreaking fusion that is Proyecto Insomnio. 🚀

Jr's passion for music and his diverse influences shine through in every note. Get ready to experience the magic he brings to Proyecto Insomnio! ✨

Originally from San Francisco, Bay Area, her Administration began at the California Ear Institute at Stanford. That transitioned into Administration with a Law Firm in Silicon Valley specializing in Patent & Trademark Law for Intellectual Property. After meeting her husband, Miguel, her love of music expanded into Management and PR for his musical career, including processing immigration visas, bookings, PR, scheduling TV and Radio interviews, press conferences, travel and tour itinerary. Let’s put it this way, we could not have done it without her.

NICOLAS V MANESCU - BASS

Nic started at a very early age of 8 yrs old, hiding from his parents his first teachers who introduce him to the bass were his uncles who used to rehearse in his house with his dad in a rock band. Later when he was about 13 yrs of age started his first ever band to play at social events all kinds of styles of music from rock to cumbias. Later in life he played on tours and recordings of big figures like Joel Solis (Bukis) Christian Castro, Pablo Montero and LiranRoll just to mention a few. He had the oportunitty to work alongside with famous producer Manuel Casares at his renowned music studio.

Francisco Rodriguez - Accordeon

Accordeon
As the accordion player for Proyecto Insomnio, Francisco Rodriguez pours his heart and soul into creating music that resonates with audiences around the world. Influenced by legends such as Ramon Ayala, The Hometown Boys, and Los García Brothers, Francisco found his musical calling early on. At the age of 3 his grandmother gifted him his first accordion from Tijuana. With this gift of music and family support Francisco loves to share the rich cultural heritage and infectious energy of Tejano music. The Accordionist moved to Austin, Texas from California and joined Proyecto Insomnio 2024 soon be on a stage near you.
